Seleucids are my personal favorite faction, but Bactria might be a bit easier they were also the first factions I competed a campaign as. and pikes of the Seleucids but have an additional low cost like unit which are better then levy and standard pikemen. I've not played much of Pontus but they seem like Seleucids-lite, missing the super powerful cav. However they probably have the most diverse and powerful late game rosters in the game. Seleucids have it even more rough, at least all but 3 of their vassals break free leading to a huge amount of wars, they border with Egypt which can be a huge money/troop sink in the inevitable war you'll fight (Cyrene is one of 4(5?) glass settlements giving better research speed). Because Epirus is the only greek faction that i can think of that defeated the Romans during a lot of battles (although both sides took heavy losses). Discussions, strategies, stories, crude cave-drawings, and more for Medieval 2, Empire, Shogun 2, Rome 2, Attila, Thrones of Britannia, Warhammer, Three Kingdoms, Troy, Pharaoh and others. This can be countered with Eastern Slingers and Pikes, an entire flank is inaccessible due to being the edge of the map and they also get a huge industrial income increase.
